Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust, highly efficient software modules and applications using the C programming language.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, QA, and product managers, to gather and understand project requirements and translate them into precise technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of C-based applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and stability.
- Actively contribute to the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from initial concept and detailed design phases through to implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Proactively optimize existing codebases for improved performance, scalability, memory footprint, and security, strictly adhering to established best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews, engage in technical discussions, and contribute valuable insights to architectural decisions to continuously enhance overall product quality and technical excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
- Exceptional proficiency in the C programming language, coupled with a deep, practical understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Demonstrable experience with embedded systems, system programming, or low-level programming concepts is highly desirable, including direct manipulation of hardware interfaces.
- Proficiency with modern debugging tools and techniques (e.g., GDB, Valgrind) and extensive experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Solid understanding of operating system internals and concepts (Linux/Unix environments strongly preferred), including process management, memory management, and multi-threading/concurrency.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the proven ability to work effectively both independently and as a contributing member of a high-performing team.
