Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Lead/Azure Solution Architect to join our team at Cognizant in Bengaluru. As a Senior Azure Solution Architect/Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms on Azure. If you have 15+ years of experience in cloud-native big data architectures and a strong background in data modeling, distributed computing, and end-to-end data pipeline orchestration, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native big data architectures on Azure, including real-time and batch data processing, and high-performance analytics systems
- Lead large-scale enterprise and mission-critical projects, providing hands-on leadership and technical expertise
- Develop and maintain Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and analytics
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on Apache Spark, PySpark, and other big data technologies
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and expertise
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms on Azure
- Strong background in data modeling, distributed computing, and end-to-end data pipeline orchestration
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
- Proficiency in Apache Spark, PySpark, and other big data technologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
