Overview
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
Financial Systems owns the data and reporting foundation for Accounting, and the operational reliability of the pipelines that power reporting, reconciliations, and automation. We are building a single source of truth for financial information using dbt and Snowflake to enable scalable BI and process automation across the org.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize our finance data platform to improve reliability, efficiency, and performance
- Build strong foundations and make data systems easier and safer to run at scale
- Ensure operational ownership of our pipelines and core datasets
- Improve the scalability of our BI and process automation across the organization
- Collaborate with the Financial Systems team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our finance data platform
Requirements
- Experience in building and maintaining large-scale data platforms
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Snowflake
- Experience with data pipeline management and optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
