Overview
We’re looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Over 50 million people use Speechify’s text-to-speech products to turn whatever they’re reading – PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, websites – into audio, so they can read faster, read more, and remember more.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data infrastructure and acquisition systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI research scientists and engineers
- Work on optimizing data pipelines and workflows for better performance and efficiency
- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures
- Participate in the development of data-driven products and features
- Contribute to the improvement of the overall data infrastructure and architecture
Requirements
- Experience in software development, preferably in a data-related field
- Strong skills in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with data infrastructure and acquisition technologies
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
