Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
- Manage and review general ledger accounts, including account reconciliations and journal entries
- Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and external auditors
- Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to stakeholders on complex accounting issues
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role
- CPA or equivalent certification required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with financial systems and software, such as ERP and accounting platforms
