Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver global infrastructure for AWS
- Operate and maintain servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment
- Work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer access to innovation
- Develop and implement new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 infrastructure support
Requirements
- Experience in software development, preferably in a cloud-based environment
- Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure services and technologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
