We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join First Advantage’s Corporate Applications team.

What You’ll Do
We are seeking a B2B Engineer to support our global file transfer software, a critical system for governance and compliance at First Advantage. Key responsibilities include:
- Strong communication skills to engage with both executive and junior audiences.
- Collaborating across teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Translating plans into technical solutions with strong acumen.
- Providing superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrating critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Managing tasks independently and prioritizing effectively under pressure.
- Maintaining confidentiality and using independent judgment.
- Managing change with consideration of technology, business processes, and systems.
What You May Need to be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience or certification in Cloud technologies and a computer background.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and Java technology.
- Exposure to programming languages and networking.
- Familiarity with SQL Server databases and operating systems like Linux and Windows Server.
- Ability to align deliverables with business objectives and ensure up-to-date documentation.
- Coordinating business unit testing (BU QA/QC) and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
