Overview
As a Custom Software Engineer in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualisation and design to testing and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and project managers, to translate client requirements into robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications. This role requires a strong problem-solving mindset, technical expertise across various programming languages and platforms, and a commitment to delivering excellence. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks tailored to client specifications.
- Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to understand project requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues, ensuring optimal application performance and reliability.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in custom software development, with a strong portfolio of implemented projects.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, .NET, or JavaScript (Node.js, React).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), and version control systems (Git).
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum), data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
