Purpose of Role:

To provide technical support to Brennan IT clients of managed services. To provide remote BAU support predominately focusing across the Microsoft product set (such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Desktop, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services and SCOM).
  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance for issues which are in scope of work e.g. file and folder permission, security group
  • Point of escalation for Service desk agent for in scope workload
  • Perform standard patching as per predefined patch management process
  • Perform standard SCOM task with proper coordination as per process defined e.g. Certificate renewal

Key Competencies Details:

  • Remotely resolving tickets for managed services
  • Ability to self-learn & support team members.
  • Ability to research solutions or information regarding technical issues.
  • High energy level.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good team player.
  • Escalation point of contact for Service Desk Agents
  • Good knowledge in user tickets & client environment.
  • 1st Level triaging knowledge of SCOM/proactive event tickets.
