Job Description
Function: Software Engineering → Frontend Development

Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js and JavaScript ES6+ features.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+ Features, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux, Context API, etc).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and development
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization (use of techniques like Lazy Loading, Memoization, etc).
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to have):
- Experience with Typescript.
- Familiarity with front-end testing libraries and frameworks.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of CSS pre-processors, such as SASS or LESS.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
