We are looking for a recent graduate to join our team and help build the next generation of data infrastructure. You will work on scaling our core platforms—including storage, streams, media, and analytics—to support massive data growth across our ecosystem.
This is a hands-on role where you will tackle challenges in distributed systems, multi-threading, scalability, and performance. If you are excited about working with cutting-edge open-source systems and solving complex infrastructure problems, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
What You Will Do
You will contribute to scaling our infrastructure to handle immense growth in traffic and data. Your focus will be on one or more of the following key areas:
- Data Infrastructure: Build and support large-scale systems like Apache Kafka, Hadoop, and others that power our data processing and analytics.
- Search, Networks, and Analytics: Help build and operate the platform that powers our search services, responding to thousands of queries per second with low latency.
- Service Platform: Develop the core technical platform that enables all our engineering teams to build, deploy, and run their services efficiently.
- Content and Community: Design and maintain the systems and algorithms that generate and serve professionally relevant content to our users.
Basic Qualifications
- A B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Programming experience in at least one of the following: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, or Ruby.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Experience building distributed, internet-scale systems.
- Familiarity with frameworks for caching, queuing, RPC, or parallelism.
- A solid understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and distributed computing.
- Experience with open-source projects or academic research in large-scale data systems.
