Responsibilities
- Conduct technical security assessments, high-level design reviews, and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks, helping Moata product teams enhance security.
- Collaborate closely with principal engineers to design and implement proactive security measures.
- Support the automation of security verification and testing practices across all applications.
- Perform operational patching and maintenance of system infrastructure.
Key Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate security risks to software engineers.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Preference for automation over manual monitoring.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud computing technologies.
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies.
- Good knowledge of enterprise technology architecture, including business, information, data, network, and security layers.
- Proficiency in backend and frontend development languages such as SQL, C#, Python, JavaScript (TypeScript, ES6+), and frameworks like React + Redux.
- Understanding of information security principles and processes.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with application or system-level vulnerability testing and code-level security auditing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge in security engineering, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols, and applied cryptography.
