Overview
Perle is an AI infrastructure company building expert-driven training data, evaluation systems, and applied AI products for the world’s leading labs and enterprises. We are seeking a freelance transcriptionist fluent in Akan for a remote transcription role.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe 2-speaker, channel-separated audio recordings in Akan
- Produce a clean, accurate, sequentially ordered transcript with speaker labels and timestamps
- Listen to 2-speaker audio recordings in Akan and type out what each speaker says, accurately and in full
- Label each speaker turn as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2
- Work on a freelance, contract basis, with the ability to choose your own schedule
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality transcripts
Requirements
- Fluency in Akan
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Strong understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural fidelity
- Experience with transcription or a related field is an asset
