Overview

Mercury is building a banking stack for startups, creating the easiest and safest banking experience possible to simplify entrepreneurs’ and business owners’ financial lives. We’re looking to hire a Disputes Specialist to deliver exceptional customer experiences while balancing risk.

Responsibilities

  • Handle dispute intake and resolution processes, including pre-arbitration and arbitration cases.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to resolve card and ACH disputes.
  • Make consistent and high-quality risk-based decisions that directly impact Mercury and our customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to stay up-to-date on dispute trends and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the fintech or banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of dispute resolution processes and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
