What You Will Be Doing
As a Software Developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing detailed system specifications for program development
- Coding, testing, and debugging complex programs while maintaining existing systems
- Developing proprietary web applications and maintaining technical documentation
- Identifying and resolving system issues to ensure continuous operations
- Estimating manpower and project costs to meet user requirements
- Collaborating on web-based software development and content creation
- Participating in Agile processes, such as sprint planning, and keeping issue tracking systems updated
- Conducting tests to ensure software meets end-user requirements
- Supporting rollouts, upgrades, and providing technical expertise to external vendors
- Ensuring security is integrated into the software development lifecycle
What Your Background Should Look Like
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Certifications:
- Android Development, ASP.NET, or DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, TOGAF)
- Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Agile Certification
Experience:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in software design and development
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of API design, cloud computing, and SDLC
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and integration testing
- Proficiency in coding (JavaScript, Python, SQL), database management, and technical documentation
- Experience with cloud computing tools (AWS, Azure), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and big data frameworks (Hadoop)
Tools Knowledge:
- Expertise in platforms like MongoDB, Redis, Spring, Gradle, and cloud environments
- Working knowledge of operating systems like Windows, Linux, and database platforms
