Overview
We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone. We’re waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking. After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK.
As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more to come.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable backend systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Strong proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or Go
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
