Job Description

Function: Software Engineering → Full-Stack Development

We’re looking for top engineering talent to join our small, customer-driven development teams to work on a variety of projects including:

Back End: We write lots of microservices, primarily with Java 8 Our APIs are RESTful and use the Spring framework. We take advantage of ActiveMQ, Redis, and ElasticSearch for processing volumes of data.
Front End: Our web applications are complex, single-page apps written in JavaScript (React, AngularJS, SCSS).
Mobile App: Our mobile applications for Android and iOS are built on the React Native Framework
Core Data, Infrastructure, and Reliability: Building the systems that power hundreds of services on AWS, and empowering access to massive datasets with ElasticSearch, Redis, and MySQL.
At Superset, apps are owned and developed by small, autonomous, cross-functional teams. You and your team set the goals, set timelines, build the software, go to user tests, and monitor the performance.

Requirements:

You’re a strong coder; regardless of which language you use or how you learned it, we’re looking for people who can write clean, effective, and performant code.
You have previously worked on a modern web application and have built/integrated with REST APIs along with building front-end using one or more JavaScript frameworks.
You are a self-starter and enjoy collaboration with others work isn’t carried out in a vacuum, and everyone contributes to get the job done.
You understand that making mistakes means you’re learning.
You have a constant desire to grow and develop.
You are passionate about product craftsmanship and care about great design, not only in products and their visual presentation but in your code and technical architecture as well.
You are comfortable in a high-paced environment and can respond to urgent requests.
