Overview
Amazon IN Platform Development team is looking to hire a skilled Data/BI Engineer to build for pan Amazon India businesses. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in democratizing data access for the entire marketplace and adding productivity. This is an exciting opportunity to own the processing of every Amazon India transaction and work with dedicated business owners and processes for each focus area.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems to support Amazon India businesses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, architectures, and tools to support data-driven decision-making
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems and applications
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data solutions to meet those needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and apply that knowledge to continuously improve Amazon India’s data capabilities
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with data processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink
- Knowledge of data storage solutions such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, or data warehouses
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
