Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer – Voice Engineering to join our Unified Communications team based in our offices in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram. As a Voice Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-level communication solutions for the firm, as well as managing the operational support, maintenance, and stability of our highly automated infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement voice engineering solutions to meet the firm’s communication needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for voice engineering systems and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve voice engineering issues, including network and system problems
- Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for voice engineering systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in voice engineering
Requirements
- Strong experience in voice engineering, preferably in a Unified Communications environment
- Excellent knowledge of voice protocols, such as SIP, H.323, and MGCP
- Experience with voice engineering technologies, such as Cisco, Avaya, or Skype for Business
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex voice engineering issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
