Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale data systems, including data pipelines and architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements
- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation processes
- Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are met
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering
Requirements
- Experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data architectures and pipelines
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
