What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
As a Software Engineer in the Autonomous Procurement team, you will drive innovation across the entire development lifecycle. Your primary duties will include:
- Taking ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from conceptual planning and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Translating complex business requirements and user stories into actionable, technical implementation plans.
- Writing clean, readable, and highly performant Python code while adhering to established conventions and best practices.
- Developing and executing effective unit tests to validate your code and ensure stability across the platform.
- Participating actively in technical discussions and peer code reviews to maintain high-quality standards for the entire team.
- Utilizing CI/CD pipelines to efficiently integrate and deploy code to live production environments.
- Using modern observability tools to monitor services, debug complex problems, and profile application performance.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
We are seeking a technical, detail-oriented engineer who is comfortable in a modern, cloud-based environment.
- Education: A BE/BTech/ME/MTech/M.S. degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience delivering quality software in a collaborative environment.
- Core Skills: Strong proficiency in writing Python code and utilizing commonly associated packages.
- Databases: A solid understanding of both relational (SQL syntax) and non-relational databases.
- Cloud & Web: Experience with modern web technologies and major cloud providers (preferably AWS or Azure).
- Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with concepts of distributed computer systems, such as messaging queues and event streams.
- Tools: Must be comfortable using Linux as your primary OS and proficient with command-line tools (like Git and SSH).
- Modern Tech: Experience in using GenAI (like LLMs) for code development, debugging, and optimization.
- Desired Skills (Bonus): Experience with ASGI web app frameworks, REST APIs, Pydantic, or SQLAlchemy libraries is a plus.
