Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka. As a Senior SDE, you will be responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver large-scale infrastructure projects, including data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain software applications to support infrastructure operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance
- Work with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain to optimize infrastructure efficiency
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 infrastructure support
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on infrastructure engineering
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
