Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software applications, ensuring thorough test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
• Architect, create, maintain, and enhance robust and scalable test automation scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver, integrating them into existing CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing, to proactively identify software defects and ensure superior product quality.
• Identify, accurately document, prioritize, and track bugs through to successful resolution, working in close collaboration with development teams and product owners.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, software developers, and other QA engineers to meticulously understand project requirements, provide constructive feedback, and deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our test automation framework, evolving testing processes, and promoting best practices across the engineering team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related engineering discipline from a reputable institution.
• 3-6 years of proven, hands-on experience in software testing with a strong, dedicated focus on Java and Selenium test automation.
• Solid proficiency and demonstrable expertise in Java programming language, including a deep understanding of object-oriented design (OOD) principles and common design patterns.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit frameworks, and implementing Page Object Model (POM) design patterns effectively for maintainable automation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and practical experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Gradle).
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) to manage and track issues efficiently.
