How You Will Contribute
Ciena’s Blue Planet UAA is an open, vendor -agnostic software suite with the latest innovations in AI and ML. The unit has an advanced development team responsible for end-to-end network insight complements the automated service fulfillment capabilities provided by MDSO and NFVO. We are looking for a Software Engineer who has the experience to drive the activities related to given phase/integration setup installation.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Software Developer in an early career role.
- As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using Java and ui technologies like Angular, NodeJs.
- Implement efficient data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance.
- Enhance coding standards and participate in peer code/design reviews.
- Help drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement with an emphasis on test automation, technical curiosity, and data-driven decision making.
The Must Haves
- A minimum of 85% in 10th, 12th, and B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA (with a specialization in Computer Science/IT/ECE).
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java.
- Utilize Angular and NodeJs to create responsive and dynamic web applications.
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Knowledge Or Experience In (a Plus – Not Mandatory)
- Knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols
- Knowledge with Agile development.
