Overview
FenixCommerce is an AI-powered delivery intelligence platform helping enterprise ecommerce brands maximize order revenue and order profitability simultaneously. We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to help us build and scale the systems that process millions of delivery and carrier events daily.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and optimize Elasticsearch-based data storage and retrieval systems
- Work on high-throughput, low-latency services that directly power customer-facing accuracy and revenue outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development
- Experience with Elasticsearch and AWS
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
