Overview

We are seeking an experienced Japanese Linguist to join our Finance Talent Community at LILT. As a senior linguist with a strong background in financial translation, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality translations for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex financial content between English and Japanese with a high degree of accuracy and terminological consistency.
• Ensure translations reflect market-specific financial systems, terminology, and formatting conventions.
• Apply rigorous quality standards to deliver precise, unambiguous content where accuracy is critical.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure high-quality output.
• Stay up-to-date with market-specific terminology and conventions in the finance industry.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve translation quality.

Requirements

• Native Japanese speaker with expertise in financial translation.
• Strong understanding of market-specific terminology and conventions in the finance industry.
• Experience with investment, compliance, and regulatory documentation translation.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
