Buhay is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. This cross-border role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge fintech projects, collaborating with teams in both India and the Philippines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance existing products and features.
- Work with stakeholders across India and the Philippines for smooth product development.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Support the integration of third-party APIs and internal tools.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Maintain and update documentation for software changes and processes.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose potential improvements.
Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Proficiency in one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, or Django.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a cross-cultural, distributed team.
