Overview

Google is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Network Operations Residency Program in Bengaluru, India. As a resident, you will have the opportunity to work with our network operations team and gain hands-on experience in networking fundamentals, Unix systems administration, and programming languages such as Java, C/C++, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand Google’s network architecture and operations
• Participate in network operations tasks such as monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Collaborate with the network operations team to resolve network-related issues
• Develop scripts and tools to automate network operations tasks using languages such as Python and Java
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for network operations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in networking and network operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and network protocols
• Experience with Unix systems administration and scripting languages such as Python and Java
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
