Overview
Paytm is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Frontend Developers (New Grad) to build the web experiences used by 300 million+ Indians — contributing to Paytm’s payments, banking, and financial services web platforms at massive scale.
As a Paytm New Grad Frontend Developer, you will work on Paytm’s consumer and merchant web products — building highly performant, accessible React.js applications that serve hundreds of millions of users across payments, Paytm Bank, insurance, and lending products.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, performant React.js web applications for Paytm’s consumer and merchant products
- Optimize web performance — Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting, and bundle size optimization
- Develop secure frontend forms and payment flows — implementing PCI-DSS compliant payment input handling
- Build progressive web app (PWA) features including service workers, offline caching, and push notifications
- Implement A/B testing and feature flagging to inform product decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Requirements
- Fresh engineering graduate with a degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of React.js, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
- Experience with modern frontend build tools such as Webpack and Babel
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
