Overview
Perle is an AI infrastructure company building expert-driven training data, evaluation systems, and applied AI products for the world’s leading labs and enterprises. We are hiring a freelance transcriptionist fluent in Akan for a remote transcription role.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe 2-speaker, channel-separated audio recordings in Akan.
- Produce a clean, accurate, sequentially ordered transcript with speaker labels and timestamps.
- Label each speaker turn as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2.
- Listen to audio recordings and type out what each speaker says, accurately and in full.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality transcripts.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
Requirements
- Fluency in Akan language.
- Experience in transcription, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality transcripts.
- Good listening and typing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
