Financial Crimes Compliance Manager at Mercury

Overview

Mercury is building a complete finance stack for startups, aiming to create the easiest and safest banking experience possible. We are seeking a skilled Financial Crimes Compliance Modeling & Analytics Manager to join our team in San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, Portland, OR, or Remote within Canada or the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective compliance models and analytics to detect and prevent financial crimes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activities
• Design and implement data-driven solutions to enhance the overall compliance program
• Provide expert guidance on compliance matters to internal stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve Mercury’s compliance program
• Manage and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and develop recommendations to improve compliance outcomes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably in the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of BSA/AML and Sanctions regulations, as well as industry trends and best practices
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance models and analytics
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Benefits

At Mercury, we offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 – $450,000 per annum, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
