Overview

We’re looking for a highly technical, hands-on, and empathetic Engineering Manager to lead one of our full stack squads in our Revenue organization. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be directly responsible for one of Discord’s major business lines, delivering premium experiences that create real value for users while driving company revenue.
Responsibilities
- Lead a full stack squad in the Revenue organization, driving technical direction and strategy
- Partner closely with Product to define and execute on long-term product roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, and Engineering
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Discord’s business and technical landscape
- Drive technical innovation, experimentation, and learning within the squad
- Ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet business needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Strong technical expertise in full stack development, with a focus on scalability and reliability
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
- A passion for gaming and online communities, with a deep understanding of Discord’s user base
