Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data team in Pune, India. As a Data Engineer at Weekday AI, you will design and build scalable, high-performance data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient data pipelines using PySpark, Fivetran, and SQL
- Build and maintain large-scale data warehouses and data lakes on cloud-based platforms
- Optimize data processing workflows for better performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements
- Develop and maintain data quality checks and validation processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in data engineering with hands-on experience in PySpark, Fivetran, and SQL
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
