To help advance our vision of modern money movement, Marqeta is looking for a Counsel, Product and Regulatory who is enthusiastic about payments technology and its potential for positive impact in peoples’ lives. You will help drive high-profile cross-functional initiatives across the business involving a variety of complex legal and regulatory issues, relating to managing risk for financial and payments products.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional initiatives across the business involving complex legal and regulatory issues
• Manage risk for financial and payments products
• Work independently and with large multi-stakeholder teams
• Provide sharp analytical and communication skills
• Demonstrate excellent legal and business judgment and strategic thinking
• Report to the US Product & Regulatory lead counsel
