About the Cisco Apprenticeship Program
Cisco’s Apprenticeship Program offers hands-on experience in a corporate environment, allowing you to gain industry knowledge and skills. Based on your team, your role may involve:
- Designing, coding, and testing applications to improve reliability and scalability.
- Automating deployments, monitoring products, and optimizing network platforms.
- Building tools for testing and maintaining a zero-downtime engineering environment.
- Developing frameworks for validating complex distributed systems.
- Working with hardware design and automation, where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, and Web Development.
- Manage deployments, change processes, and support client/server architectures.
- Implement and test code, adheraing to high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Work with REST APIs, RDBMS, multi-threading, and design patterns.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, sharing technical expertise.
- Identify risks and conduct mitigation planning.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.
Who You Are
- Recent graduate (2023/2024) with a final degree completion certificate or provisional degree.
- Available for a 12-month term starting August 2024.
- Strong communication skills, passion for technology, and eagerness to learn.
- Enrolled on NATS with a valid student enrollment number.
