Key Responsibilities
As the Cloud Infra Architect, you will be the primary technical authority for the organization’s cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and deploying scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Leading the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Architecting solutions using containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies.
- Defining and enforcing cloud security best practices, policies, and governance.
- Continuously monitoring and optimizing cloud costs and resource utilization.
- Driving automation initiatives to streamline operations and deployment processes.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to a team of cloud engineers.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies:
- 12 to 18 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5+ years in a dedicated Cloud Architect role.
- Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform is highly preferred).
- Strong experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- In-depth understanding of cloud networking, security services, and identity management.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
