Overview
Gusto is seeking a skilled Business Money Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, or remotely in the United States or Canada. As a Business Money Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our financial systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable financial systems and infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reliable code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our financial systems and infrastructure
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on financial systems and infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
