Overview
KPMG India Services LLP is seeking an experienced Automation Consultant / Software Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. As a Software Engineer at KPMG, you will be responsible for writing automation frameworks, test, and tools to validate products, combining software design engineering with software test engineering.
Responsibilities
- Write code that automatically verifies product quality
- Understand software internals, debug code, and automate repetitive tasks
- Implement new tools and frameworks to streamline quality processes with a shift left approach and quality by design mindset
- Work directly with software engineers and program managers to understand project features and review technical designs
- Implement automated test tools to deliver quality features efficiently
- Develop test plans and test cases that approximate real-world environments and scenarios
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering and test automation
- Strong understanding of software internals and debugging skills
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks and implement new tools and frameworks
