Overview
Meesho is looking for an Assistant Manager – Taxation to join its Finance team in Bangalore, Karnataka. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Extensive coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure tax compliance
- Ensure that Meesho and its business partners are tax compliant
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate tax risks
- Provide expertise and guidance on tax-related matters to the team
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in taxation, preferably in e-commerce or finance industry
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in India
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
