We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our finance team at Meesho, Bangalore. As an Assistant Manager – Reporting and GL, you will play a crucial role in assisting with books, audit, banking, insurance, and assets. Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate reporting and smooth audits, with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements
- Lead critical finance initiatives, including treasury management and asset management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial process improvements and implement best practices
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including auditors, bankers, and insurers
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions and drive growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes, and apply this knowledge to improve financial processes
Requirements
- CA/ICWA with 4-7 years of experience in finance, preferably in a listed company or a startup
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, auditing, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
