Overview

Anthropic is seeking talented individuals to join our Fellows Program in AI Safety. As a fellow, you will be working on creating reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems that are safe and beneficial for our users and society as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development in AI safety, focusing on creating reliable and interpretable AI systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and policy experts
• Design and implement AI systems that prioritize safety and transparency
• Develop and test new AI safety techniques and protocols
• Communicate complex research and engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI safety and contribute to the development of Anthropic’s AI safety roadmap

Requirements

• Strong background in AI, machine learning, or a related field
• Experience with AI safety, robotics, or human-computer interaction
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java
• Strong understanding of AI safety principles and practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
