Overview
Coinbase is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our Compliance Data team. As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our compliance programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data solutions that meet the needs of our business and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems to support compliance data analytics
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to identify and prioritize data requirements
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity
- Work with engineering teams to integrate data solutions with existing systems
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business stakeholders
- Ensure data solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with data storage solutions such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, or data warehouses
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data quality
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or GCP
