Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Sustainability & Carbon Emissions Analytics Platform team at Happiest Resume, India. The successful candidate will design, build, optimize, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines, leveraging AWS cloud services and modern data engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, optimize, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines on AWS cloud services
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development of a modern cloud-native data stack
- Leverage modern data engineering practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data engineering projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, architectures, and data models to support business intelligence and analytics
- Ensure data platforms and pipelines are scalable, reliable, and efficient
Requirements
- Experience in designing and building enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines on AWS cloud services
- Strong knowledge of modern data engineering practices, including data warehousing, ETL, and data governance
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git
