Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Applications Engineer to join our team at insightsoftware in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications. You will work closely with our development team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications using various programming languages and technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code is of high quality and follows best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with software applications
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on applications engineering
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
