Role Overview
The candidate will be part of Volt Money’s Product team. The individual will work closely with a Product Manager to identify problem statements and solve them. This includes internal and external coordination and user research, such as talking to users and analyzing issues and funnels for improvements.

Candidates who have worked in product roles closely with the internal operations or sales teams will find this very relevant.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with PMs to understand issues and deep-dive to identify the causes (RCAs) as well as address them.
- Work closely with PMs to identify areas of improvement and help prioritize features in sprints.
- Work closely with internal and external users to identify challenges and pain points and solve them with assistance from PMs.
- Work closely with PMs to write product requirements for features and drive development.
- Work closely with PMs to monitor the impact of features that are released and drive adoption as per plans.
Requirements
- Strong user empathy and ability to put yourself in stakeholders’ shoes in sales, support, operations, etc.
- Strong communication and articulation skills, including verbal and written modes like documentation, process notes, communication templates, etc.
- Crazy sense of ownership in understanding and solving problems end-to-end by taking sufficient support from PMs.
- Basic understanding of SQL/Python and number crunching through Excel/sheets would be required.
- Ability to think critically and in a structured manner basis data and logic and support decision-making.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate would be someone who’s worked with a startup or growth-stage organization as a product intern and is looking for exposure in a rapidly growing Fintech. This role requires the individual to get their hands dirty including digging into issues and going deep into specific problems. This role is ideally suited for individuals in their last year of college or those who have graduated.
