Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality for WordPress sites.
- Developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
- Ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Collaborating with design and project management teams to deliver projects on time.
- Troubleshooting and resolving website issues in a timely manner.
- Conducting website performance tests and code reviews.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of the WordPress theme and plugin architecture.
- Experience with page builders like Elementor or WP Bakery is a plus.
- Good understanding of website architecture, responsive design, and SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
