Overview
Arm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff/Principal Software Validation Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As a Staff/Principal Software Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in validating our software products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans to ensure software products meet requirements and are free from defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, hardware engineering, and quality assurance
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve validation efficiency and effectiveness
- Analyze and debug complex software issues, identifying root causes and implementing fixes
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test cases, and validation reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve validation processes and methodologies
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software validation, quality assurance, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Python Pytest or C++ Google Test
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
