    About The Team

    The Airflow product team is hiring for this position. Airflow is a platform to programmatically author, schedule and monitor workflows. Airflow team is based out of Charlotte and Bangalore, consists of passionate people that are fascinated with developing innovative technological solutions.     Job Summary

    • Proficiency in at least one Programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Go.
    • Experience with at least one SQL and/or NOSQL database technology such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic Search)
    • Experience with at least one framework such as Node, React, Flask, Hibernate
    • Experience with container and container orchestration platform like Kubernetes and knowledge on helm templates
    • Experience with at least one workflow management system such as Apache Airflow, Google composer, Amazon managed workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA), Astronomer
    • Contributed to Opensource Projects and/or have used Opensource projects extensively during work.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
    • Develop flowcharts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
    • Write well-designed, testable code
    • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
    • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
    • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
    • Document and maintain software functionality
    • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
    • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
    • Comply with project plans and industry standards
    • Ensure software is updated with latest features

    Years Of Experience

    • 2+ years of experience in developing web applications.

    Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

    Required Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

    Skill Set Required

    Primary Skills (must have)

    • Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
    • Experience designing interactive applications
    • Ability to develop software in Python, React and Node Js programming languages
    • Good knowledge of relational databases.
    • Experience with test-driven development
    • Proficiency in software engineering tools
    • Ability to document requirements and specifications
    • Good to have Airflow platform knowledge (optional)
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

    Secondary Skills (desired)

    • Good to have google cloud platform knowledge/experience
