Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions for Google Search. This includes working on core ranking algorithms, indexing systems, user interfaces, and backend infrastructure.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions within your team, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability of new and existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and drive product innovation from conception to launch.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Java, C++, Python, or Go.
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale, high-performance web applications or services, ideally within a complex, data-intensive environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
