Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems for Amazon’s Cross Border Tech initiatives.
- Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Drive the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment, ensuring high quality and operational excellence.
- Identify and implement improvements in system architecture, performance, and operational stability for existing and new services.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide operational support for critical systems, ensuring high availability and quick resolution of issues.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.
Essential Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, C++, Python, C#).
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and building scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available microservices and backend systems.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS) and experience with large-scale data processing technologies is a plus.
